You're allready fit for some serious Gig'ing mate, you should not hold yourself back against any offers that might come in your way, even if they are 10 or 15 years older than you!

But after I took a beer from the fridge i kinda loosened up! I haven't recorded any solo's of myself or any sort of "Hear my chops!" kinda thing. The closest you can get to a somekind of imporvised recording was a thing we did while waiting for some singers back in secondary school. The theme is taken from some old athletic song ( Or they allways play it at the olympics [img]biggrin.gif[/img] ). We played the theme and then we just goofed through it, was very fun. The outcome can however be discussed. But there you are;

A-little-improvised-but-not-really-sorta-not-drum-solo-improvised-but-social-improvised-thing!

And again... I'm totally amazed about your playing. Thanks for posting it!

Rudy, I thought that Gavin Harrison was playing with Incognito... but maybe that was before Porcupine Tree?

I just downloaded your files LDGuy. Could it be that you used to be a member on the Drummerworld message board?
I was never a member there, rather a reader of threads...It would be great to see some videos of your playing. I remember countless time where people on that forum posted edited sound files and mp3s of other people playing...Not to say you are on of them but its mainly about your playing on the solo. Would like to see what is singles/doubles you know?

It could also just be the fact that I have never really heard drummers of your age playing at that level. Back it up with some videos and I am satisfied! [img]cool.gif[/img]
